Harvest Time

This week was our Harvest Assembly. As always everyone was very generous and sent in lots of donations, in particular Pot Noodles, Teabags and Biscuits to go to Storehouse. We heard today from Aidan that Storehouse do a lot of good work, not just helping families who need help with food. They help all sorts of people who may be homeless or just having a hard time at the minute. The children thoroughly enjoyed the assembly as Aidan always has a fun challenge to take part in.

Outdoor Learning

Outdoor learning has been a school priority for the last couple of yeats and every year we are trying to increase the amount of learning that takes place using Natural materials. This week the P5 class did a maths lesson outsiode and then P2 and P7 got together and did some den building and lots of arts and crafts outside.

P2 Trip

P2 had their first trip out of school this week. As part of their Autumn topic they got a bus to Lady Dixon Park and a had a great time playing in the leaves, collecting conkers and seeing squirrels.
