Cycle to school week

This week was Cycle to School week and it was fantastic to see so many children cycling and scooting to school every day, even on rainy mornings. It is such a good habit to get into if you live close nearby, as the exercise is good to wake everyone up properly in the mornings and it eases the traffic issues we can sometimes have on busy mornings.

Roald Dahl Day

P5 have had a fantastic day. Their topic this term has been Roald Dahl, they have been reading his books, designing chocolate bars and learning how to illustrate his stories. Today they all came to school dressed as one of their favourite characters, from Mr Wonky, Matilda, the Golden Ticker, the Twits and the Enormous crocodile!

A visit from Buddy

P1's topic this month has been 'Ourselves' and they have been looking at baby photos of themselves, playing with the babies in the bath etc. and during the week they were thrilled to have a visit from Buddy, Mrs Decodts very cute nephew. They learnt all about what he can do and what his favourite toys are.
