Back to School 2023/24 Academic Year

All the staff have been delighted to welcome back the children from P1 to P7 and we have had a great week and a half in school. The fabulous weather has really helped as we have all enjoyed getting outside and playing with our friends. Mrs Decodts and Mrs Hackett have been so impressed with the P1's, all coming into school in the mornings and learning their new routine really quickly.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents for making sure their children are looking smart in their uniforms each morning and sending them equipped for the school day. In our first assembly this morning we learnt the importance of a healthy break and we hope that the children will take this back home and make sure they are following a healthy diet throughout the week.

Nursery starts

Mrs Hanna and Miss Houston have really enjoyed getting to know all our new Nursery children who, like the P1's, have been doing a great job coming into Nursery each day and learning their Nursery routines, including outside and indoor play, snack and tidy-up time!

We currently have some work going on in the Nursery as we will be opening up a SEN Nursery unit in the afternoons at the end of the month.

After School Activities

As always we have a range of afterschool activities on offer throughout the year.

This term the teachers are offering School Choir, Drama, Cross Country and Transfer clubs. Anyone who brought back a note will get into their club of choice. Due to the numbers interested in the new cross-country club we are going to split it. P6&7 will attend 21st & 28th Sep and 5th & 12th October. P5 will attend 26th October and 9th, 16th & 23rd November.

Remember to sign up online if your child is interested in Football or Galaxy multisports for children from P2 upwards.
