P5 Roald Dahl Day

It was one of P5' favourite days today - Roald Dahl Day! Their first topic has been Roald Dahl so they have been learning to write in his style, reading his books and learning to draw and paint like the illustrator Quentin Blake.

Today they all dressed up as their favourite character, we had some Matilda's, Willy Wonka's, Oompa Loopma's, James and his Giant peach, Ms Trunchball and many more. There was a package sent in the post from Willy Wonka himself full of chocolate and sweets!
