The P7's thoroughly enjoyed their day out on Tuesday. They travelled by train to W5 and learnt lots of ICT skills involving the use of Microbits. Several passers-by commented on how well behaved they were on the journey.
P3 Walk
As part of their 'Houses and Homes' topic P3 took a walk along the Glenburn Road to look at all the different kinds of houses and homes the could see around Dunmurry. THe highlight of the walk was a fun trip to the park at the end.
Football Kit
Thanks to Sprint Auto in Dunmurry for sponsoring our football team by buying their kit. This week some of the P6's walked round with cards and thank you presents to show our appeciation.
Cricket
We have been delighted to be able to enter another sporting event - a cricket competition. Over the past couple of years we have had Coach Wayne in providing free cricket coaching to the Key Stage 2 children and this term we have our afterschool cricket club again run by Wayne. We were very proud of our team who all came back to school with medals. An excellent summer sport.
