Snowdrops have arrived

We have made it to the end of the long and cold January! The snowdrops are out on the school grounds which will hopefully bring us a more pleasant February.

Sporting competitions

We are loving getting competitive and entering sporting competitions. On Thursday morning, we sent a team to a cross-country event. We have some fantastic runners who aren't winning just yet but, as a lot of them are P5 have loads of potential to be future champions.

On Thursday afternoon our U10 football team played a very competitive match against Tonagh PS and were only beaten when it went to penalties.

Well done to all the children involved.

Pizza Party

This week P2 had their annual Pizza Party as part of the Royal dinner in their Castles topic. They got to pick their toppings, try something new, then enjoy eating their pizzas together. The staff all loved it as the P2's then went round the school sharing what they had made!

Sweetie Houses

The P1 children (and parents) have been working very hard at home this week to create the most amazing sweetie houses based on the story of Hansel and Gretal. A lot of work has gone into their very imaginative designs, it was really difficult not to want to eat them!
