P1 and P2 Farm Trip

It's the time of year to head out of school for exciting trips. This week was the turn of P1 and P2 who took a double-decker bus to Streamvale Farm. They had a lovely day looking at, stroking and feeding all the animals.

Gardening club

Our P4 gardening club has proved popular, enjoyable and very useful! This week the boys and girls did some clearing and weeding around the pond area with Mr Green and Mrs Orr-Stewart. It means everyone gets to enjoy the pond and wildlife garden areas.

Sports Day

Yesterday was Sports for all the classes from P1-7. We had the most amazing day, the weather was fantastic, the parent support was brilliant and all the children had great fun.

P1 and P2 started the morning off with their sprints, bat and bean bag and team races, then P3 and P4 were up mid-morning for their sprints, egg and spoon, sack and team races and finally in the afternoon it was the turn of the P5, P6 and P7 children who added a long distance race and a house relay to their sports day. Everyone put in their best effort and won lots of stickers.

Nursery Sports Day

This morning it was the Nursery Sports Day. The children had been practising hard on all their races and they delighted their spectators with their sporting abilities. They did running and balancing and jumping before their trike ride around the roundabout in the playground. Well done to all!
