Coronation Tea Party - Part 1

To celebrate the King's coronation this weekend we decided everyone would make their own crown and we would have a picnic. The best bit about a picnic is choosing what do have to eat, so the children began today making their own sandwiches.

The dinner ladies had also thought about the coronation and brought us special shortbread.

Coronation Tea Party - Part 2

Time for a picnic! As it been raining all night we decided to go for an indoor picnic in the hall. Everyone from Nursery to P6 brought their picnic, including cake, to the hall at snack time and enjoyed chatting to their friends while eating their own sandwiches.

Coronation Tea Party - Part 3

Aftet the picnic came the entertainment. We had invited along a magician, Doug from Funnybones Magic Show. He performed lots of very entertaining magic using lots of helpers and he even let us into a secret and taught us how to do a trick!
