Barnabas Award

We were delighted to have some special visitors in Assembly this morning. In 2013 Professor Alan Woodside OBE presented this trophy to the school.

The trophy is now in 38 schools and is presented 'To the pupil who supported and helped others.' Several P7 children have won it over the past few years for what we usually class as friendship and hopefully Professor Woodside will come back and present it to this years' P7 winner in June.

Gymnastics

Mrs Malcolmson, as our P.E. co-ordinator, updated our P.E. policy and scheme of work in term1 and this term the focus in P.E. lessons is gymnastics. From P1 to P7 the children will be learning new skills including how to role and land safely.

PTA Movie Night

Wednesday 25th January 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Movie being shown - LUCA

Tickets are £4 per child, including popcorn, chocolate and a drink.

Pyjamas, pillows, blankets etc. all welcome.

To buy tickets send the money into the office in an envelope stating child's name, class and how many tickets you would like from next Monday, 16th January.

P1 and Nursery places

The online portal is currently open for applications to both P1 and Nursery for September 2023. If you know anyone wanting to come and see the school they may ring the office and make an appointment.
