Christmas Dinner

There was great excitement in school on Wednesday as it was Christmas dinner day! Suzanne and Fiona put on their festive outfits, Christmas music played and everyone enjoyed their turkey dinner with cocktail sausages, shortbread and ice lollies.

Carol Singing

P7 have been getting in the Christmas mood this week. They have made giant snowflakes, a mega long paper chain and they delighted the residents of Railway Lodge with their lovely carol singing and jingle bells.

Christmas Cake

The yearly P5 treat of making a Christmas Cake with Marilyn continued this week. A few weeks ago they made the actual cake and today was the time to put on the icing and decorate. As you can see P5 have made 2 lovely Christmas cakes and one of them will be cut for parents to try with a cup of tea or coffee at the nativity plays next week.

P7 trip to the Ulster Folk Museum

The P7's had a brilliant day at the Ulster Folk Museum this week despite the cold. We all got on the train at Dunmurry and hopped off at Cultra. They then had fun pretending to be at school in Victorian times and doing some laundry the old-fashioned way! After the workshops they had time to explore the museum including getting willow stars for Christmas and buying sweets by the ounce in the sweet shop.
